Large 8ft fence erected in Maghull, Liverpool. This fence line was put in place as a division beetween the customers garden and a busy cut through road at the back of some shops. After meeting up with the home owners and having a measure of the job we decided to go with concrete and timber. The land on the garden side was nearly two foot higher than the road side. So we used double concrete base to retain the soil and keep the fence panel elevated. The customer still wanted the height of 6ft on he’s side of the garden so we used 10ft concrete post and a 6ft heavy duty fence panel pressures treated for a longer last. The posts are dug in 2ft and back filled with a semi wet sand,stone,cement mix. The total height of the new fence was 8ft from the road side and just 6ft on the inside.
